Small scale participatory meetings have beenn conducted in five European countries:

– Denmark
– Hungary
– Italy
– Norway
– Spain

The SurPRISE decision support system has been applied and tested at these events, on surveillance-orientated security technologies and corresponding challenges which have not been selected for the large scale events. The aim was to explore citizens’ concerns about security challenges in smaller participatory settings while testing the decision support system which was developed during the project. The citizen meetings engaged groups of about 30 participants for each country.

The results of the small scale events are published in Deliverable 7.1.
